Souchi Announces Expansion
July 7, 2008; Portland, Oregon. Souchi, the Portland boutique that showcases hand-loomed knits by local designer Suzi Johnson announces a sophisticated remodel and expansion of their flagship store on NW 23rd Avenue. The expansion doubles the size of Souchi, making additional room for expanded lines of organic cotton, and merino knit pieces to join Souchi’s signature cashmere designs.
With more than double the space in this modern, light-filled boutique, there is even more room for beautiful knit pieces for women, men, baby, and home that are locally designed and hand-loomed by Suzi Johnson. Souchi is also expanding its carefully edited collection of clothing from designers like Bruce, Jackson, Johnson & Roe, and Ports 1961, and accessories and jewels from Pade Vavra, Thea Grant, and Martine Sitbon. With more knitwear, hard-to-find clothing lines, accessories, and shoes, Souchi will truly be a Portland shopping destination.
“I am excited to finally have the space to showcase all of my favorite things,” says Suzi. “In addition to the full Souchi knit collection, shoppers will also have the chance to shop amazing non-Souchi lines that can be very hard to find.”
The newly expanded and updated Souchi store opens July 11, 2008.
